About Us
At Mama’s Famous Pizza & Italian Eats, family is at the heart of everything we do. Named for our grandmother Eleanor, who along with Joe Sr. became affectionately known around Tucson as “Mama and Pop,” the restaurant was built on welcoming every guest like family.
When brothers Joe and Vinnie Spina brought their New York–style pizza shop from Long Island to Tucson in the early 1980s, students, locals, and visitors quickly fell in love with the food, the family feel, and the music that gave Mama’s its one-of-a-kind atmosphere.
More than 40 years later, Mama’s is still family-owned and operated, proudly serving Tucson with the same traditions of love, flavor, and community. Because at Mama’s, there’s always room at the table.
